I hadn't, but they provided the cheapest way for us to get from NYC to San Francisco!
Uneventful travelling day with an early departure from NYC to Minneapolis. And from there onwards to San Francisco where we managed to hire possibly one of the smallest cars I've ever driven (one bag had to go in the back seats because the trunk was too small for both of them).
The drive to Sonoma was pretty cool since we got to drive straight through San Francisco, across the Golden Gate bridge and hit wine country right as the sun was setting. Having arrived at the Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn we were absolutely knackered and hungry. The guy from the reception gave us a few good tips for places to eat (and not to eat!). We ended up at a nice Mexican restaurant, with delicious and spicy Tacos. Also you can't eat Mexican food without proper Margheritas, so we ordered those as well :) When we were stuffed, we barely finished our platen because these were still American portions of food, we were ready to hit the bed when Jenneen called... Except it wasn't Jenneen, her we could've blown off. Unfortunately, it was the bride to be. How can you refuse the bride when she asks you to come over and have drinks?
