The only reason we're writing this post is because the flight was 14 hours. This in combination with the time difference upon arrival meant we had just skipped roughly 38 hours which we reckoned was enough for a blog post. We were a bit worried by the lack of small screens for a 14 hour flight but it all worked out. Under our chairs were power sockets with enough juice to power my tablet and provide us with the viewing entertainment of 4 Game of Thrones episodes...

The next morning we were ready for our first trip into San Francisco proper. We had to take the shuttle bus to the airport from where we took the BART into town. At the wharfs we got out and proceeded on foot along the waterfront, taking about 30 minutes to reach Fisherman's Wharf. Not that we regretted going over to the groomshouse. We had a good time drinking, playing mahjong (Hello Kitty stones! :D), getting hustled playing pool against Earl, catching up, avoiding Trisha's wrath (thankfully mostly directed at the bridesmaids) and general chillness.
