An absolutely stunning spring day. Sunny, warm and twittering birds. Awesome. Prefer tbilisi that way. Got train ticket for kutaisi for tomorrow. 5 lari, bloody bargain. Wonder around nice residential area vake. Beautiful park at the western end. Then over to Azeri embassy. Drop off passport and told to come back in half hour. "we will check"... After 30 min i get passport back and visa inside. Great relief. Walk back to park and found awesome music venue. Some guys jamming upstairs. great sound. Nice cheap dinner, followed by ordinary and expensive wine at acid bar. Back to guesthouse where party was going full on. No chance of sleep. At 3am some guys even came into room. Got up and had a chat. Turns out two night guards and a non-guest were the only ones partying on. Was told this is a hostel and had to put up with it. That was the level of noise i would get here. Rude f*** b****** with total lack of respect for guests. Back to bed but no chance of sleep now of course.
