Up too late for borjomi. Got some tipps at info center instead. Markutshka to mtkheta. Nice little village with big time church activity. Churches are beautiful: no fuss rocky architecture, no fancy ornaments or gold inside, a few pictures of orthodox rockstars and candles everywhere. Incredible and awesome vibe, people chatting and mobile phone active, preying, singing, kids running around, enormous social interaction, mingled with preyers and chants, surrounded...

Up late. Azeri embassy. They only took application form and told me to go to some bank to pay fee. Then more walksaround newer part of town. Weather ok.

Finally on the road again. Started with a way too long flight via istanbul and much too long stop over. Finally arrived at tbilisi at 3am and tried to get some sleep there; not a chance. Bus to town and to hostel. Nice but little privacy. Wander town. Pretty but rain spoils a little. Have to wait for azeri embassy until tomorrow.
