Up too late for borjomi. Got some tipps at info center instead. Markutshka to mtkheta. Nice little village with big time church activity. Churches are beautiful: no fuss rocky architecture, no fancy ornaments or gold inside, a few pictures of orthodox rockstars and candles everywhere. Incredible and awesome vibe, people chatting and mobile phone active, preying, singing, kids running around, enormous social interaction, mingled with preyers and chants, surrounded by candlelight and warmth. No benches except for on the sides. People stand and chat and sing and prey, but only few sit down ( well, there's no bench to sit on ). Cool stuff. Rather new houses and cafes, looks quite modern.
