So today I woke to snow!! First snow ever, it was very exciting :D Siobhan and I headed out in our PJ's and jackets and proceeded to have a snowball fight on the street. She got me good in the face :P The snow was so pretty and I had fun stomping through it the rest of the day.
Then it was time to head off to Cadbury's in Bournville. It was a magical place full of chocolate and fun! The walk there was a bit chilly but it was worth it. Free chocolate on entry (Curly Wurly - my favourite!) and more on the way through. Seeing as it was my first time and I was from Australia, plus Siobhan's cousin Eily was all in purple, we got EXTRA chocolate. So now I am all chocolated out...if that's even possible. It was interesting to learn the history of Cadbury and they had lots of fun activities like writing in meltyed chocolate. I had enough skill to write 'Australia rocks at cricket' which made Siobhan laugh. The best thing was probably seeing Eily's reaction to everything, she was so excitable.
We then took the train back to Burmingham (hope that's how it's spelt!) and had some lunch at Nandos (YUM) and explored the German Christmas Markets. I say explored but it's more like went wherever the crowd took us :P It was very pretty (especially with the snow!) and full of lots of interesting things. We had some chocolate covered fruit and marshmallows in sticks and got some candy coated cashews..mmmmm. We all piled onto the carousel before heading over to get some Bailey's hot chocolate, which is by far the best hot chocolate I have EVER had (thank you England).
Then it was back to Coventry for a family dinner with all Siobhan's relatives. Unfortunately I was feeling a little under the weather and basically fell into bed without dinner I was that tired and sick. But all will be better tommorrow (hopefully) as it's Warick Castle!
