Forty nights for forty years
Apparently this place receives up to 8m of rain and that was just today. Epic quantities poured down on us but we weren’t disheartened - we are Welsh!! Enjoyed two side walks to see the Humbolt waterfall and lake Marion and then drove up towards the Homer tunnel with wet weather gear dripping in the back. The view was jaw dropping, a glaciated classic u shaped valley but now embellished with literally hundreds of waterfalls brought on by the downpour. Neither of us have ever seen anything quite like it, truly an awesome spectacle of nature none of our photographs could capture so instead this one is of me looking very wet. Stunning, stunning journey.
Now in camper van at Milford with the rain hammering on the roof and listening to music.
