Arriving in Paris on the 2nd of October marked our full circle return to where we began our epic trip more than 3 months ago! Aside from being the easiest way back to London, our main reason for returning to Paris was to celebrate our biggest relationship milestone so far... Our one year anniversary!! And where better to do this than in the city of lovers??
On the evening of the 2nd we didn't have much time for adventures, so we just checked into the 1 bedroom studio apartment we rented through Airbnb and cooked a quick and easy dinner. However a little spanner in the works was thrown when we were exploring the tiny flat and opened a drawer only to find it full of porn! Whoa! And then we noticed all the old VHS tapes round the place and questions began to raise themselves about who owned the flat...
The next day, which was our only full day this time around in Paris, we caught the regional train out to Versailles, where we explored the immense chateau and ridiculously massive gardens in feral weather of constant showers and very dark skies. This included seeing the beautiful 'hall of mirrors' with a countless number of chandeliers, and THE door where Marie-Antoinette fled through when the rioters broke into the chateau at the start of the French revolution (how's everyone's history?).
By about 6pm we were pretty thoroughly soaked and cold, and headed back into central Paris for a quick and delicious Thai meal near our apartment (we managed to rent a flat in Chinatown so half the time we forgot we were in France) and then had a quiet night reflecting on our amazing trip, how happy we are, and how excited we are for our move to London and a new chapter in our lives and our life together!
This being our last destination before London, it makes this blog entry our final one until we next travel (which we hope could be within the next month anyway!). So to all our readers (kidding, we know it's just our mums left by now!), thanks for reading and following our journey! Hopefully our stories and photos helped you guys to live the experience a bit with us! Love you all,
Nat & Ant xoxo

Abi I feel a little sad and empty knowing the blog is done, can you please still add bits about London to keep me posted?
kate HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Are you sick of each other yet?? : ) Nat - I needed you in Versailles when I went there. I got SO EXCITED at the window of Marie Antoinette's room where she addressed the masses on the Women's March!!!
