Got up 8.30, packed and had our last breakfast in Mixay at 9. Got on the pick up truck at half 9 and the coach at half 10.

The bus was advertised at taking 3 hours but I knew it would be longer. It took 5 hours to get to Vang Veing. We got there at 3.30.

Whilst on the bus we had one stop, we were both asleep for most of it but while watching the world go by I saw a woman driving a moped while breast feeding! Talk about multi tasking!

Got to Vang Vieng and pulled into a guest house they wanted you to stay in. We didn't. This guy came up to us offering us accommodation at a different guest house since followed him! He showed us a room and said 'it's a hot water shower you can try it now if you want!' don't worry mate, I'll believe you. Haha

So we are staying at Malanay Guest House, it costs 50000 kip (£4.01) per night for a double room, fan, private bathroom, hot shower an cable tv. £2 each can't be bad!

Asked the guy on reception where he would eat if he was hungry. It's always the best way to find the cheapest but good places! Went to B&P restaurant!

Went back to the room and Michael went to sleep till 4 as he didn't sleep last night!

We have a tv in our room which is mega luxury! Havnt watches tv in months! Well apart from the tv on buses where they only put in Asian traditional dance singers. So took advantage and watched a film called Game Changers and Jumanji!

Michael finally woke up at 7 and we went to a food stall restaurant! There is a lot of these that only do noodle soup which we love. Asians have it for breakfast though and sometimes they find it funny we have it for lunch or tea! It's beaut though! We are going to ask if we can watch them make it!

Got back to the guest house and booked a tour for tomorrow! It has kayaking, trekking, caving, visiting a traditional village and tubing! It cost us 100000 kip (£8.00) each which is really good as its from 9am till 5pm and includes everything.

Tool a walk up and down the main street, everyone here are idiots, it reminds me of Koh San Road! All English wreck head that are off there face, disrespecting the people and culture and have clearly left there dignity back in England!

Every single restaurant, bar or cafe watches 'Friends' they are all different episodes so they must all have the DVD set, walking 5 minutes down the street you could see about 10 different episodes! I don't know why they all watch it, it's weird!
