I'VE DONE IT!!!!! Just finished the Inca trail after 4 days of walking through the Andes and my God was it tough!...begged the guides on two occasions to let me go home but luckily they refused, I was acting like a prima donna though!. 

The highest point was 4,200 metres above sea level and it was all up and down the whole time, but the scenery was amazing and I´m so glad I did it.  Was up at 3am this morning to start the final leg so am absolutely shattered now and I smell terrible!  Louisa, you and Rinesh would love to do this being the active couple you are!  And it may stop him doing Everest!!

The rest of the group finished as well and everyone was really supportive but I´m glad to be moving on to Rio where hopefully I can get drunk with people my own age...I mean trying to make conversation with a 75yr old is hard work!

Got loads of photos and will try and put them on tomorrow otherwise will wait until I´ve got some from Rio and will load them all on early next week.  Only a week left now, but looking forward to seeing you all when I get back.
