Hola Amigos! God this is so different from Sydney...after 15 hours flying I spent the night in Santiago and then flew onto Lima which has got to be the uglest place on Earth! The only decent thing in the city was Starbucks and when I returned for breakfast the next day they remembered my name and order...very chuffed with that! Left Lima this morning and flew on to Cusco where we will be tonight before heading to the Sacred Valley and then starting the Inca trail on Monday. Cusco is very pretty and Spanish looking, haven't felt the altitude yet but am taking it easy just in case. My group here are all OLD and IN COUPLES, honestly not having much luck on this front but I do have 2 nice young English people here to chat too. To give you a better idea everyone is over 30 except for the English girl and guy who are both 21 and there is even a 75 year old here!!! The scenery is beautiful though and my Spanish is slowly improving. No other news and probably wont email until I get back to Cusco next Thursday when I'll load all the photos on. Wish me luck!! Also wanted to point out that I am very grateful for the emails and gossip, but guys I have had so many emails about new relationships and great sex...very happy for you all but rubbing and salt comes to mind! However please do keep the emails coming as I need some mid-twenties company!! Seriously tempted to go back to Oz and spend the year there....
