Well today has never officially really begun as been on a plane for hours! We left Auckland at 1am and landed in singapore at 6am with a 3 hour stopover, some shopping, our first lunch of the day (well it was more like 1pm NZ time) and about 15 bites later courtesy of some little bug on the plane we boarded our silk air flight to Phuket and recommenced our journey with our second breakfast of the day but some uk mags to read!

Flight was quick at 1.5 hours and we arrived at Phuket with the taxi driver waiting for us. The taxi was great and 2 hours later we arrived at ao nang phu Petra a lovely hotel. We have an entire villa with lovely air con, a pool and all the lovely limestone rock formations I could ever want!

With some serious chillin I tried to stay awake but the hot stone massages we booked in blew it and I snored my way through part of it! Woke up to find bob and the masseuse giggling at me! My massage was great but poor bob left a bit pummelled!

A complimentary dinner and cocktails awaited. We'd forgotten it was part of our deal and we had our own little table separate to the main dining area to munch in. Yummy food and even the fish was good!
