Today we went on yet another excursion. This time it was a horseriding tour around some of the sites of the lord of the rings film set. It was really fun! We woke up real early at 5.45 as we had a 7.30 pick up for our milford sounds trip. The journey took around 4 hours by coach, after which we took a boat through milford sounds. On the 24th we bagan our journey to Wanaka. What should have been a 5 hour journey ended up taking us over 24 hours! Yesterday we drove from Christchurch to Franz Joseph. We stopped in Greymouth for a lunch break. The journey took altogether around 7 hours. The weather was terrible. So we arrived at the airport at 9.30pm for our flight at midnight on the 19th November. We were already stressed as we had a big argument with our taxi driver (even though he didnt speak a word of english..)
