Well our first day on the slow boat completed! We left the Green Tulip House on Friday morning and set off in a full mini van to the border town of Chiang Khong. Well our time has come to an end in Chiang Mai. We will be very sad to leave this city, its an amazing place. Yesterday we both had a massage, I had a back,neck, shoulder and head massage and Col had an oil massage. Well we made it to Chiang Mai. The train journey here was immense 16 hours but felt like 5 it was great. The train left at 6.15pm on Friday night and we arrived in Chiang Mai at 10.15am on Saturday morning. We had a cozy little cabin where the seat turned into two bunks, dead cute. We have been in Ban Phe, well a couple of miles away from the town center, for 2 days now. Our hotel is nice, rooms are big, free wifi and the hosts are very nice and friendly, 2 dutch guys.The beach area is nice, although they do need to tidy it up a little and empty the bins around here.
