Well our first day in Vang Vieng was good. We chilled in the morning due to travelling all day yesterday, and had a nice breakfast at our hostel before venturing out on foot to find one of the caves on the map. It didn't look far so we walked. Lovely walk and found it relatively easy. It was brilliant and the scenery just spectacular. Such a huge cave I wasn't expecting it to be as big, with wonderful views of the valley below. Afterwards we wandered around the town and found the place to hire the large tractor tyres to go tubing down the river, think we are going to do that the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow I think the plan is to hire a couple of bikes, get a map and go out in the country side and find the other cave and a lagoon. Definitely want to do the tubing though, it looks fun. We have also booked a couple of extra nights here too as we like the town and there seems to be quite a bit to do, the accommodation is cheap too. I think Col would like to do some rock climbing and the price is good too. We shall see!
