So we woke up at 8am today to catch a taxi from the golden mile for the coach to malaysia, when we arrived the coach man started shooing us away but we eventually managed to get on after dropping our bags underneath the coach in what seemed like somebodys bedroom!!!
Was a nice coach and we met a nice guy from the philipines called Elgin too seemed like good company for the 7hours ahead :) half way through our trip and a border line crossed ( which by the look on lucys face after visiting the toilet she was ready to head back to england already) we got told our coach had broken down we thought all was going to go wrong but nope we got upgraded to a even nicer if possible coach leather seats bigger seats than the plane electric foot rest the lot i have to admit was quite impressed with the playstation sets too! Was loking forward to what lay ahead in malaysia ....... So seven hours later one border crossed we arrived at destinations 2 Malaysia we got literally chucked off the coach in the middle of nowwhere a very dericit street jumped in a taxi and followed elgin to china town and oh my lord what a china town it was we went into the small crowded never ending lanes in the boiling heat burguns still attatched mind checked out a hostel and two hotels decided china town wasnt the place for us!
Cut along story shot same situation in the centre so four hours walking later (with lots of water stops on the way!) we ended up after some advice from a local guy in bhukit bintang and we were amazed like a whole other little world in the middle of KL smiles all round!
We found a place called paradiso b n b and it was cleaner and bigger than our hotel the main owner haziz as soon as we met him we new wed stay threw down our bags and went in search for a well deserved beer but oh no every second massage foot masssage miss bag for you miss...massage and we loved every minute of it well dont really no about lucy appreciating all the massage offers to me mind you haha behind all the hustle and bustle we found a street full of bars and resteraunts with acts playing so we settled at restoran ban chan with the nicest ever guy owner had a feast of lemon chicken rice spring rolls 4 large tiger beers and coke all amounting to less than a tenner so after another yes another beer on our rooftop terrace from which we can see the KL tower we called it a night and what a great first night to start our Malaysian trip.

Got changed into some decent gere and after a good old fashioned map walked a few miles to the kl tower which we then had to get a shuttle bus to take us to the top of the hill where the K.L Tower was itself. Once reaching the bottom of the tower we were greeted by two men in really glitsy suits, quite litterally, faces hats and all haha so after posing for a photo we nabbed ourselves a lovely old milo (milo is a chocoalte barley drink, tastes like the milk remains of some coco pops cereal) my favourite and lucy a nice healthy mango juice before heading up the 420 something metre tower. the veiws were amazing and we timed it quite right as we caught the sunset over the city, especially the sight of K.L switching on it's lights. Also in the back hills of K.L a thunder storm was brewing which aswell was quite spectaculer to watch. All in all we took some 100 photos of every angel of the city before heading down the lift, to the nearest taxi, 'sky bar please'. but he wanted us to charge us a ell of alot, i think he thaught he saw us comig but we got straight back out and walked in the blistering sodden heat another 2k to the Traders hotel where the sky bar is on the 34th floor. when we reached the 34h floor we came upon the most stunning bar wehave everbeen, the views of the petronas Towers were out of this world so grabbed ourselves a table right next to the open air windows! We had 2 beers which runded off to 55rm which we didnt mind paying as the views payed for itself. If only we could of jumped imtthe cenre pool running through the bar! We also saw man prapose to his fiance and lucy kicked me under the table, but what lucy didnt realise was that was going to be the night and lotation but what can you do if someone beats you to it?! Back in the hostel we relaxed with a few carlsburg beers with some new fellow travellers before hitting the sack after an eventfull day, this is hard work!
