Well, arrived at the hostel and got
my stuff, pillow, sheet and blanket and into the 8 bed dorm and meet and greet 2 German girls, 3 American guys and an Aussie, all seem pretty cool.

Get my bed sorted and my stuff arranged then wander down to Queen St for a self-tour. Have a look around and head back for a shower, ah, forgot to pack a towel so back to Queen St it is, after searching hard and not really finding much in the way of towels I find a shop, looks promising, Smith + Caugheys, find the towel department and buy a medium sized towel, bargain at only $40, walking back to hostel, suddenly realise, £20 for a towel, oh dear!!! What an idiot lol, right, no more stupid buys, back to the hostel and nice hot shower and change, then at 7, back to Queen St for some grub, after some deliberation I find a nice burger place, Wendy's, and get a double burger, the burgers are square, but tasty. Back to the hostel and some of the guys are going out so 3 of us head to K St for a mosey, walk up then back, spotting various xxx shops/clubs along the way, then onto the free bus back to Queen St, and a smell of glue lingers on the bus, no visible signs of any sniffers thank goodness!

Get off the bus on Queen St (again!) and 2 of us head into the 'Sick Club' for a few beers, then onto the Globe, which has a slight unruly queue and taking ages, not really moving, so we skip and head off to Father Teds Irish bar for a couple more before heading back to the hostel at 3am. Time to sleep.
