Being ill for most of the week,(cold now much better thank you), meant that I have only now checked out your site. Wow, you have been busy tourists. You certainly get about! The observatory trip sounded really fascinating. So many great photos! So you've hit the capital. Checked it out on the web. Looks very modern with lots of things to see and do. Went to Arley Hourse Trials today. It would have been good but the cold, windy and very wet weather really mucked it up! Saw some cross country. The course looked interesting. Medieval jousting started off being good fun to watch but I'm afraid the cold and damp got too much and we retreated to the refreshment tent. Got you a contact in Buenos Aires if you are heading that way. Much love to you both. Mum W xx

Your photos are incredible. You've really got some amazing shots. I particularly like the train. It just seems so unlikely to see a train in the middle of the desert. Very arty ;)
Hope your still having a great time,

Howdy Strangers
It seems ages since I sent a message, you seem to be packing so much into your trip each time I visit this site another adventure has taken place.
Nick is SLOWLY getting organised although he has just discovered he doesn't travel until Monday and not Sunday like he thought. Thank goodness Phil is more organised and seems to know his way out of a paper bag!!
The house/kitchen is in total chaos with no ceiling, no plaster on the walls and no kitchen!!!!! Not a good time to turn to entertaining just yet. Nick and I spent Sunday ferrying the kitchen to the tip. We went to Ikea last night and order the entire kitchen it seemed to take for ever. Its not arriving for 3 weeks so we may have time to sort out this shell. Dad's working tirelessly as usual, roll on Friday, its Whit hols!!!!
Grandma is doing very well, no crutches OR stick, the hospital don't want to see her for 12 months now.
Nick had great news last week, he has been invited for an aptitude test in September, so fingers crossed, Jon has told him he needs to brush up on his mental arithmatic, so he has GCSE revision guides and psychometric tests packed to take with him for the long bus journeys. Phil is going to be his mentor as he passed A level maths!!!!
Chris and Ste finish uni in 2 weeks for the summer, it only seems like a short while ago since Chrismas, so they will be home to join the chaos. Poor Topsy was so upset by the mess on Sunday that she slept all day in my shed!!!
Off to make a nice hot mug of chocolate!!!
Take care of yourselves, love tons Mum xxx

It was good to hear you todayon the phone, apart from hearing everything I said repeated which was quite disconcerting you sounded well. The line was amazingly clear and so cheap!
I looked up El Colorado on the British Ski Club snow reports. It did not look good. There was 0cm of snow but they were expecting snow showers today so I would leave it a couple of days. It is still quite early in the season though. If they are using snow cannons then they need to build this up before anyone skis on it. Good luck. I wish I was there- well in about a month really.
As I said today they have recently got new two ponies at the stables. One 'my little pony' lookalike and a Dales type pony. I haven't riden either although the first which is a Palomino ( Digby) is only about 12h. I actually rode Charm last wednesday. She was really good and did everything I asked of her. I won't test my luck again though. You're right sophie they do need some more bigger horses. Harley is getting on a bit and seems very reluctant to come out of his box and get going, mind you at his equivelent age I would be as well. Gerry asks after you regularly.
Yetserday I was riding at Rostherne and the weather was warm, breezy and sunny. We also went into the fields at the back which was great. We came across a male and female pheasant, with the sound of the horses they broke their cover and scootered away. A couple of weeks ago the surrounding fields had Joe's newly born lambs who for some reason decided to cut through the manage during the lesson at random times. This fortunately didn't bother the horses but made the lambs race around in a panic until they found a way out. It is a lovely time of the year here. Oh yes, it has been raining here this week almost non stop!
We recieved your postard earlier this week - thanks
We look forward to hearing about your next adventure. We love living life to the full - vicariously

Thank goodness you survived the bus ride from hell. Try and view the transport before you book it next time!!!! Surely they can't all be that bad?? How does one spend 3 days on the salt flats? Bike rides, salt surfing? I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the warning re not getting in touch. We will try not to worry too much then! Hope things get a little warmer for you. Will email. Lots of love to you both. Mum W xx.

Hola,
Pics look great lovelies- amazing adventure eih?!
Today we have been at church for 5 HOURS!!!!! Marriage preparation 'lunch'- there was me thinking it would be a quick ham butty and a chat with the vicar. What was worse was that we took Mum and Dad and they had to wait outside for 4 hours after the service, and Dad was ill and it rained, so all in all not the best day ever.
Glad you are both enjoying yourselves and are well. Keep safe the pair of you and I'll speak to you soon.
Love,
Big Sis and Badger.xx

I don't know if you've heard but mum and dad have returned to the trees today :) The kitchen looks like a building site and your bedroom Andrew looks like the kitchen :) I can't wait to attack the wall.
I'd better be off know though, I'm having dinner with Grandma and I've got to see a man about a dairy farm too :)

Hi Amigos
I'm so glad you didn't tell us about your hair-raising cycle ride down the mountain before you did it, I think we may have worried just a little!
It's my birthday today and from today I can officially use my bus pass (I've already used it illegally!) Julie has arranged for me to "Go Ape" in the forest canopy because I admired your pictures of roping through the trees, so we are both going ape later today. Syb and the girls sent me a gift voucher to go white-water rafting in Wales and Sandra Morgan from Aquinas asked me if I would like to accompany her and a group of students for 4 weeks in Tobago to study the coral reefs in the Caribbean. Not a bad birthday wouldn't you say?
Our house looks like a bomb has landed because I have started to gut the kitchen and Mum says I can't go to Tobago unless everything is finished. Ooh eck! Guess I'm working late at night.
Keep on having lots of fun and sending those great photos.
