Please excuse the bird geek in me, but I can't believe you've seen Orinoco geese and Sacred Ibis in their natural habitat, if by that I mean not the Staffordshire Moorlands!
P.S. Snake may well be venomous, please keep Colin away!
I Too Scared To Say...
There's only one way to say this... R.I.P Sebastian!!

Hi Amigos,
It was great to talk to you - we can sleep again now! I love your jungle pics it looked an amazing experience. Were either of you worried about the beasties or hanging from ropes up those tall trees?
Nick can't wait to get to South America, or last he couldn't until he saw that huge hornet's nest, and now he's having second thoughts! Do you think he can buy a new epipen in Peru?
Take care and let us know if you're going off air for a long period. This technology stuff is great, but when it suddenly ceases and the bank informs us that someone is emptying your account, it sure puts the wind up us.
Love Dad
Nick
Those dune buggies look like something out of Mad Max!!!!!!! Hope all is well x
Soph And Andy
Oops, seems we have caused minor chaos this week.....!
Whilst you lot have been worrying your pants off, we have been having the adventure of a lifetime in the jungles of Peru´s Manu National Park!
It was a VERY last minute decision - we walked into the agency at 6.30pm the night before the trip left - and in order to get a good deal, we had to pay in cash, so we were frantically emptying the ATMs that evening - hence the bank issues!!! (double oops)
Anyway, we are safe and sound (with the addition of several hundred mosquito bights!) in Cusco now, and will spend the rest of this week relaxing and updating the blog and phoning home before going on the Inca trail on Saturday! (Oh and also white water rafting tomorrow!!!!! eek! Yes, Soph finally gave in!!)
Having an absolutely fantastic time, meeting an international array of friends (Israilis, Swiss, Chilean, New Zealanders, Aussies, Canadians etc etc) and having amazing adventures!
Glad to see you are all making use of the blog - it`s great to receive so many messages!!! Keep em coming!
Will update the blog and add more fab pics later today, speak soon

Ola! I expected to come back to at least one update on the site since I haven?t visited for over a week (slapped wrists for Alan). So seeing as there?s no update from you guys I?ll give you an update from me! Rehearsals for Pirates of Penzance are going well; I think I know all the words to the songs now but still torn morally between being a pirate in the first act and a policeman in the second!! The set for it looks incredible and three helpful Greens turned out at one session to make a pirate ship!! Young Chris made quite an impression on the 14 yr old girls?.he?s still got it!! Man Utd lost to Portsmouth about 10 days in the premiership so Chelsea are now only 3 points behind us, which is quite uncomfortable but I?d still rather be in our position than theirs! Cambridge won the boat race by about a length, which brought back rowing memories (not about beating the Oxford crew but of rowing in general). Lewis Hamilton is in joint lead position in the driver?s championship in F1, which is incredible! He?s already nearly accumulated more points than Jenson managed all last season! Poor Jenson! Then again he?s been a sulky character in the pit so far this season anyway. Anyway well that?s enough for now. I?m sure everyone else doesn?t really care and you guys are obviously busy (too busy to update your site) so I won?t go on. Looking forward to an update soon.
Alan
ooooh..wait...... 3+1....oh well I tried.....

Hello People,
How are we? No word in ages so thought I'd check how it's all going, surely you must have cycled down waterfall, ridden a mental dog and tangoed in the rain at the very least since last time we spoke?
Things are same old round here- weddings, business and badgers. Trying to start a new regime for weight loss pre wedding malarky but not really goin too well as I am writing to you when I am supposed to be at the gym- ah well. Maybe I need a good bout of what you two have had to get me kick started, both ends if u know what i mean .
Lovin these smiley faces by the way. So email me when you get a min and I'll speak to you soon.
Take Care.
xx

Hi there. Still following the amazing journey on screen. Hope you are both well. Thanks for the glorious photos, especially the bananas!! The desert oasis and forest canopy looked wonderful, what an experience, never to be forgotten.
Grandma, Darren and the twins all send their love. We've also got two new additions to the family, RABBITS!!! Jasmine and Daisy, both girls I hope? The pet shop have assured us they will remain dwarf rabbits, but your mum's convinced they are going to grow into huge WERE-RABBITS!!! Certainly, they seem to like nestling up to your neck which is a worrying sign don't you think.
Looking forward to viewing more of your adventures. Enjoy and keep safe. Lots of Love Joxx.
