Thanks for the message guys! Its no longer sunny for us here. Were Huanchaco near Trujillo.... its bloody freezing!!!!!!!! I think we saw the same bald dog as you did when you were here!! Did you see it in the Chan Chan museum?! I got a pic, then ran off when it started growling at me!
I know...times really flying by for us too! We're heading down to Lima on an overnight bus tonight. Hopefully we'll get a bit of paragliding done there! We'll have to challenge you to a game of Jew-Man-See in September. I seem to be communicating more with my hands than my voice these days... I'll be ace at Shirades when I get back!!!!!!!
Anyway, have fun skiing. Let us know how it goes and we'll keep you updated too,

Hey hey, Whats all this about your blog being better eh?!?! We abouts are you guys now? We're sat on the beach in North Peru...its very cool! We want to know how much its costing for 8 days of skiing and whether you have a guide or not? We plan to do 3 days without a guide. Phil skis a lot and is going to teach me apparently (I'm scared)!!!! :)
Anyway, hope you're both well. Looking forward to a Henbury Drive BBQ/story-swapping session in September!!

Hey hey!
So we are off to Buenos Aires later today - another 14hr bus ride. We tried to book skiing in Las Leñas, but it turned out to be double the price we expected and therefore WAY out of our budget - so we are gonna see if we can hoof it and perhaps do it abit cheaper when we visit the lake district in a few weeks, either that or we just do lots of sledging!!!

The border crossing looked hairy! So much snow! Any chance of ski-ing? Great photo's. Glad you had your rabies jab after seeing the photo of the large dog! You don't look like you've put any weight on, in fact I think you both look remarkedly slim. I'm sure the gym and swimming will help you to feel fitter! Let me know if you are likely to go to Buenos Aires City and I'll send you the details of Pablos family. Great to hear that Nick is now in South America and hope he continues to write on your blog. Your Auntie Rose arrives on 16th June! Bathroom still not started yet! Should be done by the time you arrive back, I hope!! Continue to have a ball. Much love to you both. Mum W xx.

Hi Amigos
I did try to send you a message a few days ago but it somehow went astray, prpbably because I hit the wrong key with my big bandages finger! I belted my left forefinger and now it looks a bit like a ripe plum.
We saw Nick off at the beginning of the week and of course he forgot things. Last Friday, three days before he was due to fly, he delevoped an nasty leg infection following an insect bite. Off he went to the docs and came back with a bucket full of antibiotics, which he completey forgot to take with him.
We went to Aberystwyth and brought Stephen back and about two tons of kit - mostly fancy dress. Dressing up seems to be his thing.
We are in the middle of transforming the kitchen and the house looks something like a bombsite so you are well out of it. Topsy doesn't go a lot on living in a building site and she's like one of those demented bears you see advertised on the TV, constantly walking aimlessly about. We're changing her name to Dementia.
Not much else has happened, except that I've lost seven of my "babies" from Aquinas. I sure miss the little sods when they go.
We went to see the Pirates of the Caribbean on Tuesday and I was really miffed because I wanted to use my bus pass to get a cheap geriatric's ticket - and do you know what? it was cheap Tuesday and all the tickets were less expensive than the 'senior citizens' tickets. What a sickener. Julie pretends she's not with me when I get my bus pass out. Can't think why!
The weather seems to be improving here and it's a lovely morning, what's it like in Chile? I noticed the sky was blue, but you still seem to be wearing coats. I guess you are quite far south in South America with the onset of winter at hand.
Keep looking after each other and if you here of riots in Equador - Nick's arrived!
Love
