Wellllllllllllll, hi there. Hello. :)

So, things are a bit sad at the moment, as due to the fact that me and Jaz are the last to leave Vietnam out of our amazing group of 17, we have spent the last 2 days saying SEVERAL good-byes. This is made even MORE sad by the fact that after 8 brilliant weeks, mine and Jaz's time traveling together has come to an end...it must be said, I really have LOVED traveling with Jaz, my ideal travel buddy, up for seeing and doing everything and yet appreciates the benefits of a LONG lie-in! I've already told her I'm forcing her to do some more traveling with me some time soon and she has NO choice on the matter!

Having said that I am really looking forward to traveling with Harry and can't believe I'll be in Oz on Tuesday...due to annoyingly long flights etc! BUT it is all part of the experience.

OK...so...BEACH WEEK (a lot like "trekking week" i.e "beach 2 days") was really pretty darn good! A lot to "sea" and do (haha...see what I did there? even though it was the ocean that surrounded us, but I'm sure most of you will be glad to learn, I'm still as simple-minded as ever!). Anyway, like I was saying, we spent a lot of time in the ocean and on the beach but I really don't have the patience to lie in the sun and thus spen the majority of my time being thrown around the water and jumping into big waves, always a fun thing to do!

One evening me and Jaz hired a tandem (2 man bike) and went around the streets of Cat Ba Island...feeling very "gap year". Just brilliant!

We have also taken several boat trips this week and on Friday for our last official night, we chose to stay on a boat for the night. It was brilliant. The staff were mooooooooooooooooooody but the boat itself was pretty swanky and Halong Bay at sunset is one of the most AMAZING things I have ever seen. The Bay really is gorgeous.

And that brings me to now when I'm writing this. If all goes to plan next time I'll write to you will be in "Austarlia, mate".
