It tasted as good as its looked
So it has been a while since my last entry. One comment made has stated that I used too many personal pro nouns and I should be more descriptive about the sights and sounds I see. In my defence, creative writing has not been a strong point of mine; my college English teachers will tell you that too. So from this point onwards, I will be more descriptive in my blog.
This coffee house specialises in organic coffee and reportedly serves the best cheesecake in Vancouver. I can not vouch the claim as it is the only cheesecake I have eaten in Canada but it was very delicious and tasty. The base was solid yet delicate that it could be broken with a fork. The topping was soft and luscious. There were cherries in the middle of it and they were ripe & juicy. It was presented nicely on the plate with piped cream, with chocolate and honey drizzled over to complete the dish. The only downside to what have completed a delectable dish was that cream wasn't sweet enough and devoid of vanilla. The cappuccino was the first cup that has chocolate on top so I was very pleased with it. The reason is that my previous experiences of espresso here have had nothing on top. It does make a difference to the flavour profile by having cinnamon or chocolate on top of a cappuccino.
Doing my absence from the blogging world, I have been currently searching for work and a more permanent place to stay. Currently I'm scoreless on both of them. With flat hunting, you get to see different neighbourhoods and communities which you wouldn't normally see travelling around. I discovered the 'little India' part of town on one of my flat hunting exclusions. The lonely planet guide does mention the area briefly. Feel despondent at the moment but my parents have told me to persevere which is what I intend to do. There is always a light shining at the end of the tunnel. It may not be obvious at first but eventually everyone will see it.
