The sun arrived.
It had been constantly raining here in Vancouver since I arrived on Tuesday, but today the sun came out in the afternoon. Decided to make the most of it and visited the Dr Sun Yat-Sen chinese gardens. It is a 1/3 acre in size. It was modelled on the designs of private scholar's gardens during the Ming dynasty in the Suzhou province. Everything was built over in China, then broken down, sent to Vancouver and rebuilt. It has been open since 1986.I managed to catch a tour and the guide was very informative. Nice photos too.
On Thursday I visited the Science world museum. The museum is aimed at kids but nevertheless informative. They have a model of a Tyranosarus Rex skeleton which is really cool.
It hasn't been all that cold here. There is snow on the hills but thats about it.
