Russia, the Ukraine, Turkey & Ireland!
Taking a break in the Stray Dog Cafe after having visited the Russian Museum. I was going to do that tomorrow. But the Hermitage was closed for awhile today because of troops preparing for the parade for Victory Day, like Veterans' Day.
Things are going pretty well. Everyone seems pretty friendly, though the police, the militsia, last night didn't want me to take their picture. I liked the look of their uniforms. But maybe it's a state secret.
Halfway through a liter of beer I decide I'd better get something to eat. Apple pie and ice cream isn't the most nutritious thing on the menu. But it tastes good. Warm, with raisins.
Next I think I'll be off to the Peter and Paul fortress. I wonder why they didn't include Mary.

howie cohen Nice. Congratulate Putin for me. And when you get to Odessa, look up the name Kutzibay or Kutzivay or something like that. I think that's what my forefathers' real names were.
Me Haven't met Putin yet. You say you know him? Cool! Maybe he'd like to go out drinking with me. Give him a call and ask him, will you? Not sure where to look up names. But I bet yours was Cutiepie.
