Today I'm going to tell you about our trip to Ronda.
We were just about to go - we had snacks, sunscreen and stuff packed. And off we went on the road.
It was about an hour and a half drive. About halfway there we stopped and took a break from the car. Me and my Dad climbed a hill covered in thorns to try to get to a viewpoint. It was really challenging but it was worth it. At the top there was a thrilling view of mountains, houses, and pools. Then we went back down and back on the road.
So we drove and when we got there we had to go over a gorge (called La Tajo) on a bridge (called Puento Nuevo "new bridge") built in 1751 and finished in 1793. We went over and parked in the underground parking third floor down. Then we went to the cliff (aka the Gorge) and looked over the edge. It was about 400 feet down. And then we noticed you could hike down on a trail. We searched and searched and we couldn't find the stairs. While we were looking we saw an artist that was water colouring a painting of a horse. He makes lots of pictures. They had fantastic shading and all of them were 3D. Most pictures were of streets of Ronda and 3-4 of them were animals.
Then we decided to go for lunch. Me and Jesse had our first cheese and ham crepes. They were delicious. When we left we decided to go for ice cream. We looked everywhere, couldn't find it. Until I said "LOOK there's an ice cream store right there! And Gelato"
Just when we were about to go in, a procession started right in front of us. We had to stand there for about 30-40 minutes and everybody was wearing red, purple, gold, and black. When there was about 10 minutes left there was a break. So we cut through the procession and went for ice cream. My mom had Caramel ice cream, my dad had coffee ice cream, Jesse my brother had a kit kat ice cream and I had ..... MARSHMALLOW! With real marshmallows in it.
Then we went to the bridge. We went on it, we looked off the edge. It was really scary (for me). Then we went back to our car and had to say goodbye to Ronda because it was getting to 3:30. So we said goodbye to Ronda and went back home.
THE END!

Mr. Gary McPhee Bruce kindly shared this with Eva & I . . . Livy you paint pictures very well when you write. if you don't pursue writing as a career, the very least you should do is expand this talent with some courses in writing to further this wonderful talent as a hobby. That will be something that will stay with you for a lifetime. Well done!
