Everyone was tired today because we had "Nooo sleeeep" (when we rocked up to the ryokan at 7 in the morning after getting locked out the owner was so surprised to see us and ask you "Nooo sleeeep?" it was the funniest expression ever) So today went to the market and tried some weird food, eel and eel liver. The golden temple was sick!! too bad we couldn't go inside!! Around the temple sites there were wishing wells where you throw money towards it. There were candles to light and you place it into something simliar to an alter. Each candle had something written on it, such as good luck, health, etc. I burnt one for everyone back home to be safe and avoid traffic accident. Today we experienced the famous Shinkazen (Bullet Train) from Tokyo to Kyoto. The shinkazen is part of the Japan Rail service also known as JR. We purchased a 21 day JRPASS back home. There was mistake with mine so the one way ride from Tokyo to Kyoto costed me around $160 FML. The train ride was impressive, it took us 2 hours to get to Kyoto.
