Hey All!

Well I left Byron bay on Wednesday and already I am missing it, no place is the same, its wonderful there!!! We went straight to Surfers Paradise on Wednesday. Its a nice place but nothing that special. Its basiaclly a beach with high rise buildings and livs on its big night life. Unfortunately the hostel we stayed in wasnt great but it was a roof over my head. Wednesday night I went on an organised pub crawl, its seems to be what everyone does in surfers! We had a good laugh but was nothing exciting, doesnt beat a good night out in newcastle!!! The next day we didnt leave till the afternoon so had a little look round the town and tried out the beach.

The trip from Surfers to Brisbane was fun though as we stopped to go zorbing! such a weird thing, you get inside a plastic ball with water and roll down a hill!!! yup its like a human washing machine or like a hamster!!! WAs funny though, had to be tried!

Arrived in sunny Brisbane, unfortunately the hostel is worse then the other one, they seem to be getting worse up the coast. My problem is im not use to taking all my stuff to a bathroom at the end of the corridor, seem to always forget my towel, oops!!! Anyway thurs night i had dinner at the hostel bar then Antony and I went for a walk down by the river, its gorgoues and the town is so quiet! its all so clean and pretty here. It is missing a real beach though. This place is lovely for locals to l ive but there isnt much to do for tourists so im only staying here for 3 nights.

Today I went up to Mt Coot-tha, which has a wonderfull lookout over Brisbane, absolutley stunning!!! Then walked back down a waterfall trail and looked at some aboriginal art (not that i understood what they meant???) When we got back into town we went for a ferry ride along the river on the city cats, that gave some wonderful views aswell.

Anyway thats all for now! Im going to Noosa on sunday so will prob catch up later next week.
