Oh my gosh, I cant believe Im in New Zealand!! I dont think ive realised yet, I still think I am in Australia (prob as id didnt want to leave there!) This trip is just flying by!!! I arrived safely last tuesday where Tina (my dads cousin) picked me up from the airport. Tina and Mark have a lovely cosy house in West Auckland, its not all finished yet and i keep telling them that there is so much potential with it and they can do so much which they plan to.

I have spent a lovely time with Tina and mark and certainly catching up and finding out lots about them and things bout the family i didnt know so it has been really interesting. Tina has been taking me to the city most days where we have done lots of shopping and drinking coffee, its been great fun. She has shown me around the harbour and the sky tower. We wanted to do a harbour cruise but it was cancelled due to the weather as its not been great unfortunately.

At the weekend mark and Tina took me to some nearby beaches in west auckland, they are very different as its all black sand but they have wonderful views and waterfalls so thoroughly enjoyed going for walks arund the places. We have eaten out lots and watched movies together so it has been a lovely relaxing stay.

Im going to stay at a hostel in the city tomorrow as ill be going on a free tour around auckland where I will be able to climb the bridge. Then on wednesday I start on the Kiwi bus tour up to the bay of isalnds. Im hoping i will still have a allot of places with internet access along the way and if i do i promise to write.
