Last day at Sunshine today, sad to leave as its been so lovely and chilled! We thought we would take a look over at shark bay as everyone says its a great snorkelling spot and the weather was ok. Joey let us have the snorkelling equipment for free...absolute babe that he is! So we headed off clambering down rocks to the see. It wasnt good visibility which was a bummer, then came the rain. I made a dash back to move my clothes otherwise they would have been as wet as i was. Me being the wuss i am wasnt feeling the rain as it was bringing the current up. A couple headed back in and we had noticed they had been in the same spot for a while....we asked what they had seen...a turtle and 5 reef shark!! I was still wary of the current but really wanted to see a turtle and em was desperate to see the shark. We waded back in and headed out to the spot. We didnt get that far when we spotted the shark, very breif but we had seen it. Then came the panic when we saw a massive black shadow in the distance sitting there. I immediately thouggt it was a shark and that i was about to get eaten! Next thing i know emma starts flapping and shouting turtle. Out from the black comes this massive turtle! It was huge but just glided through the water it was beautiful. We even managed to swim along a bit with it and it wasnt even phased by us...it was amazing! Definitely a highlight! We headed back to sunshine, one last cuppa and then on the move to sairee beach..here comes the party. A lot of people had suggested places so we took a stroll. Wasnt long before we came across lotus bar, suggested by mr matthew harris. Then we found choppers the aussie bar. It was loud and busy...could tell i would like it. Food was good, cocktail hmmm not my thing. Dont know what was wrong with me but i struggled to drink it. We headed to check out lotus as it was on the beach and out came the rain...again. Alcohol wasnt going down well so had to call it a night. I needed sleep, hopong i'll feel better tomorrow!!
