What an eventful morning....this is what i expected travelling to be. Moving from here to there and back again. Early start at 6am ready for breakfast at 7 as train is at half 8l...plenty of time. WRONG! After a very quiet taxi ride a the driver decided not to talk to us, we rock up to the train station ask tourist info for the next train to chiang mai as we missed ours from traffic by a minute! She then flicks her calendar to the 1st november!! Not quite what we were expecting to say the least. We then discover the next bus isnt till half 7...brilliant time to starr a 15 hour journey and miss a nights accomodation! Anyway we head to book our bus ticket and the guy advises flying. This was an exciting prospect but we obviously thought it would be a hefty price. Oh we were wrong...£70 sold...hour flight with food. Bonus. After heading back to the airport we have arrived at our hotel which is nice, clean, central and pool. What more could you ask for after an eventful morning. X
