This morning we were still in Taupo. We had to wait until 2.15pm to catch the bus, so we wrote a list of things we had to do today. Today, I unfortunately had to nurse a hangover. Last night got a little crazier than I expected, and some parts of the night I don't remember but I do remember that it was one of the best nights of my life! Kristy says she wasn't hungover, but a headache that lasts all day after a night out isn't a coincidence! As little as she claims it to be! Oh, and I mention last night was Monday? Today was our first day in Taupo. Taupo is quite a big city, and has a massive lake in the middle of the city, which is almost outside of our hostel. It was raining when we woke up, actually that's a lie, the rain woke us up. It was raining that heavy I thought the roof was going to cave in! So we got up, and dressed. We went for a look around the hostel, and decided it was time to bite the bullet and go outside for a walk to get some groceries. And of course ...

We had to get up at 9am to pack our stuff to check out. As soon as I woke up I could feel my whole body aching. The bruises were worse and my muscles were so sore! But I still had to get up and get ready. We had to check out at 10am and our bus wasn't due until 5.30pm, so we had a lot of time to do nothing! Sorry about not having a blog posted last night, when I got home, almost as soon as I lay down, I fell asleep. I'll fill you in on 'Haggas Honking Holes' glow worm adventure we did! The day started like any other boring, miserable day. It was a bit foggy, and lightly raining. After we had breakfast, we watched the movie 'Juno' while we were at 'Juno Hall'. Hilarious, right?
