Hey there,

After KohTao we left the group and caught a ferry to Koh Phangan for the full moon party. Two of the girls on our tour happened to be doing the samet hing so we travelled with them and we were in the same accommodation.

On the first day in Koh Phangan we venture to HaadRin. the place of the full moon party. it was like suddenly stepping off a boat into the middle of ibiza or korfu. not the most iddlyic spot but we were only here for the party! The day of the party we rented mopeds each (and we wore helmets)!!!! We went up to the north end of the island to a remote beach called bottle beach. here we relaxed on an almost deserted beach. As we left we had to turn around in a tiny little street.this proved to be slightly difficult for nai as she ended up in a bush. to the amusement of nearly every local in the nearby town!!

On the way back to our accommmodation we stopped at a national park and trekked up a very precarious mountain to a pittiful waterfall and plunge pool! We didnt stay here long! We arrived back at our accommodation safely and soundly and left the bikes with their rightful owners! We then proceeded to get full mooned up including illuminous body paint and we tripped it to the party. it was an amazing sight! 10,000 people on one beach having and amazing time! we danced all night long(we do love a bit of lionel ritchie)! and made it (cough cough) safely back to our apartments.

We then got a stinking ferry to suratthani and then a bus to krabi town. from here we got a taxi to aonang. we have been here two nights now. Not as lively resort as most places due to it being fairly family orientated but we took a longtial boat to a placed called railay today. This is an amazing beach lined by limestone cliffs (Apparently some of the best rock climbing in the world)!

Tomorrow we go back to krabi town for a thai cookery course and to watch a thai boxing match. from there we arent entirely sure what we're doing but im positive itll be safe and fun!!!
