hey guys.. its a been a while since we wrote anything so here goes!

Firstly, after we escaped the smoggy city of bangkok we got a sleeper train all the way down south to a place called surat thani. from there we then got on another bus inland to a national park called koh sok. here we stayed in jungle huts for two nights. along with spiders, snails, frogs, monkeys, bats, snakes....umm i think thats it! we went tubing through the rainforest and down the river on the first night and then we went elephant riding the next day followed by a trek for 10km to a waterfall within the national park.

On arrival at the waterfall it then started to rain.... alot! we hid our bags in some form of shelter and took to the river/waterfall and lay there in the rain. it was so refreshing and possibly a highlight so far of the trip. the trek back took a little longer as we stopped every 5 mins to do a leech check and remove them!

From the jungle we caught a bus and a ferry to an island called koh samui.. here we stayed in beach bungalows and generally lounged around on the beach. we took a kayak out for the day and went exploring. we stayed two nights there and then we caught another ferry and we are now on a island slightly more north called koh tao.. this is possibly the most beautiful place i have ever been! we have been snorkelling and saw soo many things. swordfish, nemo fish, amazing coral and the biggest anenoma we have ever seen! oh yeah and we had the company of two sharks!! it was amazing.

we are here for one more night with the group then they head off back to bangkok :( and we get to stay here for another two weeks!! we are going to koh phangan tomorrow for three nights to see what that island has to offer (full moon party)!

so far so good. jungle was amazing but the monkeys thought it would be really amusing to wake you up at 4am jumping on the roof and hitting the door so we didnt get much sleep!
