Day 62: Where did the turtles go?

Today was anothjer early start. I gave myself a guided tour of the island using the circle island bus route. It starts off going west round the island of Oahy, although it doesn;t go along the west coast, apparently because they are not very tourist friendly, but heads up to the nirth shore through the middle of the island. The German girls that are in my room were doing the same thing, so we decided to go together. We were first going to dtop of at Lainakea beach, because that is where the turtles are. They come up onto the beach and you can see them in the water,but we missed the stop, so I shall go back tomorrow hopefully.
We then stopped off at Waiema bay, which is a really nice beach. Just by the beach are massive rocks about 40-50ft hight that people jump off, so that is what we did. It was awesome (although very scary) and a proper adrenaline rush.
Behind the beach in Waiema falls, which is part of the north shore jungle where lost is filmed. Whenever they are shown at a waterfall, this is where it is filmed. It was actually losed today because filming was going on there, I am not sure if it was for Lost or not though.
The sun started to get to me, so I headed back to the hostel and I will see the rest of the North shore tomorrow. Now I am back at the hostel having some beers and writting some stuff. Hawaii is an inspirational place :o)
