Day 44: Hollywood is full of the weirdest people.

I said goodbye to the people I was couch surfing with and made my way to the train station. the train journey was once again really nice as it hugs the pacific coast for most of the way.

I got the subway to Hollywood, but got off at the wrong stop so ended up walking a mile along hollywood boulevard with my backpack.

My hostel could not be any,pre central. it is right on the walk of fame, opposite Manns Chinese theatre and next to the NBC studios where I just got free tikckets to see Seth green on the Jimmey Kimmel show on Monday (I am in the audience).

Hollyowod is full of crazy people who are dressed up as various things such as Sponge bob, barney, a serial killer, and shrek. They are not even doing it for money - just for fun.

The streets of Hollywood are lines with people who dream of being stars. They stand there and busk all day, just hioping someone spots them and makes them famous - sadly this is rare.

I seem to be in a bit of a mexican food rut at the moment - but I just can't resist it. Plus it is cheap and healthy. The guy behind the counter asked me if many English people had heard of mexican food. I told him no, we only eat fish and chips - I felt oblidged to keep his stereotypical view of the English for him/

I then watched Briget Jones Diaru in the common from, had a coffee and drifted off to sleep.
