Woke up at 5am and checked out of the hotel, then caught a cab to the airport. Today I am flying to Tokyo to start the Japan tour. I was flying via North Western Airlines, which is an American airline and some of the comments I heard form the Americans on this flight was just typical of the ignorance of some people. One lady said "Hong Kong is defiantly not like America, I mean the subways aren't for the trains it a tunnel to walk though." I looked at the lady next to me and we both shook our heads and smiled.
After a long flight to Tokyo, the plane finally arrived around 1.30pm. I went through immigration, which was really easy. No questions asked, just my fingerprints, a stamp of the passport and away I went. After collecting my bags I now had to get a train into Tokyo. I went a validated my rail pass got directions to the hotel and I was on my way.
It took about 3hrs to get to the hotel and it was actually pretty easy to find. I checked in then washed my clothes before going out for a bit of walk to get a bit of dinner. I asked reception where a good place is to go but I ended up getting MacDonald's instead as I couldn't find where he said to go. Oh well! I watched a bit of Japanese tv then went to sleep.
