Something short and sweet for you to chew on whilst I gather up bits of myself to paste together for you in the near future. I arrived in this mammoth of a city just 2.5 weeks ago after a short stay in Rishikesh and trek in the Himalayas surrounding Gangotri. All has gone astoundingly well, and with little effort on my part, thanks to the ever bountiful belly of opportunity miss India offers her travellers. She somehow knows what you have yet to even produce a thought for, and rapidly makes reality things you never knew you needed or wanted until faced head on with. Since arriving in perhaps the oldest living city in the world, I have been on a whirlwind tour of the outer reaches of my being, digging up buried treasure and sometimes exciting dormant demons in the process. I have been challenged by some of the most ancient and inspiring places, and in turn by the wise and warm people who inhabit them. Indian classical music has caught me entirely by surprise and presented me with some of the most incredible opportunities---ones a student could long decades for---and I have just been faced with what I feel to be a life-altering decision. A certain kind of revival of a love lost only a few years back. And so, here I am, wondering how to marry the many to create One... knowing full well that a heart so heavy with diverting ambitions can just be an explosion waiting to spark. Life is good!
