So, today I got off to a slower pace than usual. I had decided that it was high time for me to stop sleeping until 7:00, and to add a few hours onto that total, so I woke up around 10:00, and then went down to Leicester Square again, to pick up my theater tickets. It is far less memorable during the daylight hours. On the way there, some guy tried the pickup line "Do I know you from somewhere?" while I was on the tube, and then passed me his card to go out for drinks. The woman across from me laughed the whole way to her stop. There were so many things wrong with his offer, and that's beside the fact that he was at least 25. obhhhh the amazing things that will happen when I put on some eyeliner and don't wear my rain jacket. Haha. So anyways, I had a quick bite to eat at this little Italian cafe, because I had once again forgotten to eat breakfast. After that, I made my way through St. James park and had a quick gander at Buckingham Palace, which you can only actually enter during the summer months. I finished off the sightseeing that day by going to have a look at Harrods, which while it was impressive; it just reminded me of Holt Renfrew on a grander scale. This was complete with the saleswomen with 2 X 4's wedged up their ass sideways. I did walk out of the store with my little green bag. I had bought myself a box of chocolates. I came home to the hostel for a quick nap before I went to catch dinner and a show. I felt a little bit like a tool eating dinner in a nice restaraunt on my own, and I could only entertain myself by fiddling with my mobile for so long. The show Wicked itself was absolutely amazing, even though they completely reworked the original book's story line. I was only 5 rows back and center stage, so the view was absolutely fantastic. Anyways, I think that the next few days are going to be of a similar pace.
Cheers!
