hello there folks! Here in Italy.... ITS CRAZY! The italians go by there own time, so if you are planning on coming to florence in the near future....you might as well not bring your watch. My voice lessons are going well and I am learning a lot! I recently learned a butt excersise...dont ask. I have eaten enough nutella and gelatto to last me a lifetime and I have even dried my underwear on a clothes line for everyone to see....Note: If you plan on washing your clothes, dont be surprised when your clothes come back HARD and in a completely DIFFERENT shape. Other than that, everything is beautiful and the boys??? GORGEOUS! I have a list of possible candidates to marry. So if you are single and tired of match.com, come to Italy where marriage possibilities are endless! I enjoy having no air conditioner. really i do.(no sarcasm) although my mother would do anything for a single fan in her room!. OH! I cant forget that there is no ice....nada! I love Italy but it can only be described in two words. organized chaos. ciao. - annie

Papa Ma chère Anne-Marie...don't marry just yet! Organized chaos - what a great description. Tax evasion is a national sport and a key challenge for the Italian government, particularly as it navigates the Euro crisis. First Greece, now Spain, next would be Italy...Portugal too small to mention. Anyway, I envy you. Heading for California next week. Costa Rica in July...and SC in August to see you babydoo. Je t'aime, Papa
