We just arrived from Germany and we are waiting on a connecting flight in Charlotte for Myrtle Beach. It has been a very long day of traveling! St John Baptist is the patron saint of Florence and boy do they put on a show to celebrate him! I have seen firework shows, including several in Montreal for international competition, but last night took the cake with 4 grand finales and a forefront of a fifteen century tower and the Arno river. Annie saw her first opera last night, La Triviata, at Teatro Communale,.a beautiful opera house in Florence. It was incrediable and Annie wore the dress that her Granny and I picked out at Finder's Keepers.
