This morning we met Edo and Adam who I'd been talking to last night and also met Laura and Heather who Kneale knew from Thailand. We all went to get breakfast at a little cafe round the corner which was really nice and entertaining as Kneale got bird pooped on haha!!
Then we went to an Internet cafe as everyone else needed to sort tax codes and stuff out. We were in there for a while then me, Edo and Kneale went to buy some groceries and then went and chilled in the park for a few hours.
When we got back myself, Edo, Kneale, Heather and Laura all arranged to meet at 7 to go to the pub downstairs for something to eat as they were doing curry for $3; the curry was definitely not worth more than $3 but was okay and while we were sat in the pub they started handing out sheets for a pub quiz which was free to enter so we decided to give it a go and would just leave if we got bored.
We got an extra point for our team name which I came up with; 4cups of tea and a spliff (were all English and Edo is Dutch you see) lol.
We ended up coming 2nd in the quiz and winning a $50 bar tab!! Awesome for a free bit of fun.
Then me, Edo and Kneale went to a bar called tempo where they were hosting something called Rock-a-oke; it's basically karaoke but you perform with a live rock band rather than just over a track. It was actually really good fun, not that I sang obviously, but Kneale sang a couple of times and there were some locals that we're really good and some marines who were awful but definitely the most entertaining.
Then we just stayed up quite late chatting.
Overall was a really good day :D
