I left Sydney on the 1st August and flew to Auckland.
I've had a really chilled out few days here, I met Caroline from Germany and Becca from Liverpool when I arrived who were both really nice and we all got on really well. I also met a Dutch girl called Tamra who had just finished the magic bus, which is the tour company I'm travelling with so I could get some advice off her before I left which was really helpful.

My first day in Auckland was pretty lazy; I went and bought some new clothes from a local shop that I was desperate for as it's going to get colder. And then I just sat in front of a computer for hours trying to upload hundreds of pictures from Australia!! That evening, me and Becca went out for some food at a local pub which was really nice but after a while we figured out it was a proper old mans pub so we ate up and left quickly haha. Then we met Caroline for a drink and ended up bumping into James who was from our room and he showed us the delightful red light district round the corner which was really funny.

The rest of the evening was spent chilling out in the room, with Caroline teaching us how to swear in German and Tamra teaching us some dutch swear words as well. Then James's girlfriend came back to the room and they ended up having a huge argument with her screaming and crying down the corridor, she was wasted which want helping anything but was hilarious for the rest of us and it ended up being one of the funniest nights I've ever had in a hostel even if I only ended up getting like 6hours sleep!!!!!!

The next day, I went and got a haircut and then that night we all went to a place called burger fuel which is like a posh takeaway place they have all over here and then we went to an Irish bar for a couple of drinks before we all passed out in bed as we were knackered!!!
It's been a really nice chilled few days and I don't think I've ever laughed so much!!! Really looking forward to exploring the rest of new Zealand now.
