Rushed breakfast, a bus and a ferry and were being dropped at Anchorage before I know it, which is a bay on the coast of Abel Tasman. We were being picked up from Mahura which is 12.4km (7.7miles) from where we were and we had 5hours to get there; the walk should take 4hours so we had time for a dinner stop aswell.
The first part of the walk was really really steep and of course unfit me was completely out of breath!! When we got to the top of the first part the view was just amazing; it was so beautiful and you were just miles from anything but nature.
The next part of the walk was pretty flat and we were walking around the edge of valleys with steep drops to one side of us and the bush all around us. It was really amazing and at one point there was even a natural waterfall that me and Lucy stopped and had a drink from: I mean where in England could you stop and do that really?!? Not that many places really, if any.
We'd walked half the track in about an hour and a half so found a nice beach to walk down to for dinner, the company we booked with provided a packed lunch and it was actually pretty nice. We stayed on the beach for about an hour and just chilled out, although then decided to move as I was getting eaten alive by sand flies and it was getting a bit late.
The rest of the walk was more of the same really and it was just really peaceful and after being stuck on a bus for so long it was actually really nice to do some walking, can you believe its me saying this, crazy hey!!!
We had a few mini breaks along the way but got to the pick up point about twenty minutes early so walked round this freaky garden that was there that felt like Medusa's garden of stone.
Anyway, got picked up at 430 and slept for quite a lot of the journey home.

When we got back, we all showered and got into the fanciest clothes we had, which for me was just a clean vest haha!! Then we went to a pub restaurant place and treated ourselves to a nice meal before going back and all falling straight to sleep.
