Hello everyone I hope you are all well and not to cold back in the UK! As most of you know im living in Fiordland (Te Anau) at the moment which is one of the wettiest places in the world but summer has finally arrived and it hasnt rained for 3 weeks! How awesome is that and it has been around 30oC for the last week or so! Not that ive have much time to notice the weather, ive been working at alot as it is currently peak season in New Zealand at the moment. Ive being running into alot of Brits in the i-SITE info centre and Real Journeys office but sadly none that i know! Anyway on with letting you all know what i have been up to in the last month or so!
For my xmas i really just had a boring one, i was working most of the day anyway so didnt really do much except watch a bit of xmas TV and eat loads! For New Year i went to Queenstown to party with some m8s, I now am very lucky and dont have to pay for accommodation when i visit queens cos i stay at my friend Clair's, she has a spare bed in her room (cheers clair bear) lol. It will end up saving me alot of money! Anyway on new year I ended up going to an AJ Hackett (Bungy company) party and seeing 12.00 in at the lakefront wharf. Everyone got completely smashed and had a great time! It was also a really enjoyable new year as i had not been to Queenstown for a while and it was great to catch up with some friends etc. On a sad note a good m8 who i met when i first arrived in Queenstown (Rob Wiles) has gone back to live in the north island for family reasons. He helped me out alot when i first arrived! Queenstown isnt the same without him but there is still loads of good people around.
On the subject of the future, im working for Real Journeys and i-SITE until end of April (seasonal work). I plan to travel a bit of NZ for a month in May and then prob going to work the winter Ski season in Queenstown. Not sure weather im going to say for another year and extend my visa or head back OZ or Asia and then on to canada at some point! I havnt decided yet but the UK seems along way off! Miss you all loads. See you sometime.
