Went back to the scarf shop , still shut.Pottered about town and found my way about and the route we needed to get out to the Serra da Peneda avoiding the diversion. Have thoroughly sussed it all now.
Planning Spanish chops for tea using up the free lemons.
This afternoon we braved the road works and went to Lagoas de
Bertiandos e Sao Pedro de Arcos, a 350 hectare area of natural wetland that has been developed over the last 20 years. The is reportedly diverse flora and fauna. The flora we could see,the fauna however was conspicuous by its invisibility, but never mind there's always next time. I didn't even take any photos. Well just some circling raptors but the pic isn't worth uploading .
Back at the flat we walked into town and surprise the scarf shop was open so I bought two. I reckon the waiter in the bar told her we kept trying so made her open up. She was probably miffed when that was all we bought.
