Ola!
Lack of blog entries, indicates how hungover we were after La Ramblas..
We drank a bit went out and got into some clubs, where they don't charge me entry as I'm a girl and I also get free drinks! Carlos had to pay every time. Would be awesome if we weren't sharing money now anyway..so we got a bit tipsy to say the least, and decided to go back to the hotel and got totally disorientated and lost and I started to cry and cry haha. My phone had died so we didn't even know what address we were looking for and just as I was trying to look for an alleyway to sleep in, we found it! The hotel man looked at us weird when I turned up crying and Carlos was walking like a crab.
Spent yesterday laying in bed and went for dinner and had some paella! So good. I could actually live on it. Especially cheesy paella. When I get home I'm going to learn how to cook it and live on it. It will be my new two min noodles.
Today we walked down to the waterfront and chilled there for a bit. The water looks seriously sooo much nicer than ours! I cant work out why. We went and had tapas. Got some snails! There ya go Fanny, told you I'd try some! I ate one. Carlos had to eat the rest haha. They were actually alright, I just couldn't get passed looking at their little suckers on the bottom of their bodies.. And the texture was weird. And we all know I have issues with textures.
Walked through the gothic quarter and shattered we didn't go there the other night, it's pretty cool and there are all these closed garage doors that say bar and restaurant so we figure at night they must all open up and would be seriously awesome. Next time!!
Barcelona suits Carlos and I perfectly, not heaps and heaps to see, just getting to hang out, relax, go to bars and eat. Win for Spain <3
Tonight went and had lots of tapas and sangria, and paella! Going to bed happpppy... I really miss everyone! Homesick again! Maybe I should just stay at home from now on hehe xx
