Today is another boring day... Not sure what wrong with us, but our sloth like ways are out in full force, we're well and truly slothing about.
So we have decided to give you fun facts of things that have happened on our holiday since we have been here.
. In London, I got such bad blisters from s***ty shoes Carlos made me buy that I haven't been able to wear any shoes since. I live in thongs regardless how long the walks have been.
. In Paris, when we went to the supermarket to buy food, I got some cuppa soups and managed to spill it all through my suitcase on the first night there, and consequently our room stank of curry and my clothes still continue to reek to this day. I'm sure people screw their nose up and look at Carlos funny.
. In Paris, there was constantly groups and hoards of children around. Unsure what was going on, and why they were constantly around, but we seemed to always get stuck behind them and there are so many we can't get past them half the time. Even when we went to the Eiffel Tower, we found a patch of grass to sit, eat and have wine and a whole group came and literally surrounded us, some even knocking into us and sat beside us. Good way to make us move I guess.
. The coffee is finally better since coming to Paris and Barcelona.
. We're both a little bit homesick (total sad asses) it's only been ten days! I miss the girls :(
.Carlos is always a gentleman and when we have to walk with the suitcases he always takes the bigger one. But every time it ends up with me laughing non stop as his wheels constantly get jammed and he almost stacks it about every 20 metres. Next time, I'm filming it!
. In Barcelona, there are people who sell fake handbags and sunglasses on the street. They have them all laid out on the sheet type things attached to ropes. This is so when police come, they can literally grab them all in a rush, sling them over their shoulders and run!! As in, into head on traffic and shoving anyone in their way. Was actually crazy watching them boost it.
.We still haven't booked Italy, being the mega organised people that we are, and this has consumed maybe half the day deciding how to get there, where to fly into and where to stay. We have booked flights now, and are still stuck on the hotel... Talk about leaving things to the last minute.
. On this trip, we have gotten surprisingly good (to tell the truth, actually pretty s***) at the NYC times crossword.
.We are that crap, all I have is a photo for you of our amazing shower. However, it is pretty amazing.
.I have downloaded a language translator. This provides me much entertainment in getting Carlos to learn sentences, that are probably not in his favour.
Anywho, we're about to head out to La Rambla for bars and food! Update on how that goes tomorrow!
