Aloha Everyone!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! It's been about a week since we boarded the ship and I am totally loving it!!! Although it's probably too early to tell for sure, I definitely think this is the life for me =]

So, all this week we have been doing what they call STCW, which is a week long safety training class.We have basically been learning what to do incase of an emergency.It's been pretty boring, honestly. This Saturday though, we are going to practice fire fighting! So that should be a ton of fun, and don't worry we are allowed to take pics!

Our ship (The Pride of America) has 5 different stops, in 7 days.

Day 1(Satuday): Honolulu--This is when we drop off the passengers of the past week and pick up the new passengers.We leave this port at 7pm and sail all night.

Day 2 and 3(Sunday): Maui—We arrive in Maui around 7:30am.Maui is 1 of 2 over night stops.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Hilo - We arrive here around 7:30am. This stop is on the big island of Hawaii.We only stayed here for 1 day.We leave this port around 6pm, on our way to the next stop, we went past an active volcano! We were not too close, but we could definitely see the lava on the mountain.

Day 5 (Wednesday): Kona - This stop is also on the big island. We stop here, but do not at port, we anchor a little ways off the shore and use life boats as ferries to the island. They make a ton of coffee here.I was also able to score some AMAZING ice cream, lilikoi cheesecake flavor! (aka: passion fruit cheesecake)

Day 6 and 7 (Thursday and Friday): Kaua'i --- This is our second overnight stop, it's also our last stop. We head home on Friday afternoon at 2pm and make our way back to Honolulu.

We were training most of the time this week so we were not able to get off the ship in all the ports.We did however get off in Maui and Kaua'i for dinner.This week has been a ton of fun! All of the girls in the spa are so nice and have been soo helpful! Our manager is awesome, and has been a big help in our getting acclimated to ship life.

I will try to keep up with this and then post as soon as I have internet, but internet is not that easy to get on the ship so I will have to wait till I have some time off in a port.
