Hey Everyone!

Mary and I went to see Pearl Harbor yesterday. I'm very glad I got to actually go and see Pearl Harbor, but it was very sad. They have a free tour, which included a short video and a boat ride to the memorial for the Arizona. The memorial was built above the actual ship which has been in the same spot since it was sunk. It was very nice inside and they had a lot of different things set up to honor the ship and the men that were on it.

We started back into training today after the weekend. We will train for a couple more days and then actually be working in the spa at the HHV. I'm excited to start working before I get on the ship, but I'm also very nervous! We found out today that because of some complications (big surprise...) that Terry and Mary will be going on the ship this weekend, for the week, to do their basic safety training. So I will be here alone for the week working at the spa until they get back. We will then finish our training, and then on the 11th of Dec. we will board the ship where they will begin working and I will do my basic safety training. We are keeping our fingers crossed that everything else goes smoothly from here on out, but we're not getting our hopes up! haha
