Alice's Travels
Last night Oppy and I checked out KL's nightlife and it was pretty cool. We started in the Hard Rock Cafe where we watched some football and then went on to a few bars which were more like the clubs you get in Europe and reminded me of clubbing in Malia.
I didn't exactly fit in with the locals and was the only person out of god knows how many to have blond hair. Quite a weird experience compared to going out at home and when we first arrived we got a fair bit of attention.
After clubbing, we ate at one of the street vendors who was selling all different skewered foods. The locals stand there ands cook their own and pay at the end for the number of empty skewers they've accumulated. We however were given some special treatment as they clearly don't sell much to tourists. They packaged it all up for us and when we opened it we had some very suspicious looking meats but some awesome fried fish, I loved it, it beats kebab shops.
Today we have a long wait ahead before our train out tonight and Oppy spent his time getting a haircut which took...4 hours!! They dyed it black like Chinese hair and put highlights in it so he fits in well with the locals, but it actually really suits him. I've just done more shopping and ate Korean dumplings, my absolute favourite for dinner.
It has rained monsoon style all day again and I seem to have mud up my legs all the time, doh!
